The Church at Pike Road was birthed from years of praying for the Montgomery community and from a movement of God in the hearts of people. My journey toward being a part of planting this community of faith began in God’s heart long before I could see His plan.
I've been blessed to join with Christ on mission to make God’s love known, moving me from the business world to the mission field. After serving in Latin America, I returned to the U.S. to study at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary while serving churches in Alabama and Louisiana as a Pastor.
After completing my degree at New Orleans, I served as Pastor to Students and Missions at Camden Baptist Church. During this time I became deeply connected to the people of central Alabama. I love to see people live out God’s missional plan. This is the passion that brought me to Pike Road.
My wife, Tiffany, and I have two girls, Emma (10) and Edie (9). We are all amazed and grateful to have the opportunity to express the love of Jesus Christ and enjoy the life which is in Him through the Church at Pike Road.
Our lives have been imprinted with God’s mercies and held up through His grace, so that we might enjoy His love and compassion while sharing it with others.

Micah has a great passion for pouring into people and raising up men and women of God who live out their faith in every aspect of their lives. He believes that this begins by helping people understand and develop their personal relationship with Christ. This, in turn, produces a passion for God’s Word which Micah understands is central to the Christian calling. By helping to encourage and inform the people at The Church at Pike Road with solid biblical teaching and discipleship, he hopes to send out missional people who, at their very core, have been transformed by the work of Christ.
Micah is extremely blessed to have been married to his high school sweetheart, Amber, since 2002. An amazing joy in their lives is their two boys, Micaiah who was born in 2008 and Matthias who was born in 2013. The Meek family moved to Pike Road in Oct. 2014 so that Micah could become the Doctor of Ministry Program Director at South University-Montgomery. In this capacity, Micah gets to help equip and encourage students who feel God calling them to ministry leadership in various capacities.
Prior to coming to Alabama, the Meeks lived in Grand Prairie, TX, while Micah studied at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. During this time, Micah and Amber served on staff at Camp WOW in Stuart, OK, with Micah being the camp pastor and Amber the store manager. After completing his Ph.D. in Theology, majoring in Christian Ethics and minoring in Pastoral Studies, Micah began to teach at various colleges as an adjunct professor. Before they moved to Texas, Micah and Amber lived in Missouri while Micah went to seminary at MBTS, eventually earning an MDiv and MA-Biblical Languages. While there, Micah was privileged to serve churches as a pastor, associate pastor, and youth minister. The Meeks are thrilled to be in Alabama and cannot fathom what God has in store for The Church at Pike Road.
